Yes. Shearer is a confessionally Reformed church in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), holding to the Westminster Standards. Our worship and teaching are rooted in Scripture as the final authority for faith and life.

Does Shearer Presbyterian Church have a program for young people?

Yes. When we say 'young people' or 'youth,' we mean our covenant children as integral members of the church body, not a separate group off on their own. We strive to integrate the congregation as much as possible. We have a ministry for young people, AWANA (Pre-K to high school) on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, Sunday School for all ages, and a children's church for kids under 7.

There is ample parking on the church grounds. Visitor spots are reserved in the front lots. Accessible parking is available directly in front of the Sanctuary doors and beside the entrance to the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday School at 9:45 AM for all ages. A staffed nursery during Sunday School and worship. Children's church during the 11:00 service for kids under 7.

Come as you are

Fashion is the last thing we think about. Some dress up, some come casual, all are welcome. There is ample parking, with visitor spots in the front lots.

Sunday worship begins at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. Sunday School for all ages meets beforehand at 9:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall. We also host a full hot breakfast each Sunday at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever is comfortable. At Shearer, fashion is the last thing we think about. Some members dress up, others come casual. You are welcome in your everyday clothes.
